I’m always trying to create authentic images (easy to do with Lindsey + Todd), which is why I love engagement sessions that are sentimental to y’all as a couple! Of course these photos are fun for save the dates, your wedding website and to frame around the house; but even more so, I think these photos are special because they mark a certain time in your life together.
They’re there for you to reminisce on how hot and young y’all once were decades from now, to remember how in love you are capable of being when things get hard. They’re there for you to relive the beginning of your marriage.
These two met while playing volleyball so it’s only fitting that we shot their engagement session where they could show off their skills 3 years after that fateful day! We talked about how crazy falling in love can be. You go from not knowing someone, to them quickly becoming the most important person in your life! And then all of a sudden you’re taking engagement photos.
Hermosa Beach was the perfect location because it’s their home. They literally walked their bikes down a few blocks where we shot. Just driving home the point that shoots are always more special when they’re sentimental. And we made so many fun new memories during their session.
