Music and the desert created one epic muse and inspired this dreamy Coachella wedding shoot. With help and vision from the always fabulous, Nicole Alexandra Designs, my idea came to life with hints of the well-known music festival from vintage instruments to bohemian chic Claire Pettibone wedding gowns to feathers on the cake in order to accurately portray a Coachella vibe. All the images were taken in the breathtaking Joshua Tree Park amongst the boulder landscape and abandoned ruins that we stumbled upon while shooting. For those unique brides out there, this shoot incorporates alternative set ups for your tablescape and cocktail hour area. For the reception table, we incorporated green ferns, a mix of brass dish ware and bold bracelet cuffs as napkin rings to bring an elegant touch to the desert theme. While the cocktail area included boho and lace rugs, Moroccan poufs and complimentary yet simple flower arrangements to create a relaxed and original seating area. The models were styled with the free spirit hippies that flock to Coachella in mind to tie the whole inspirational shoot together. To all my wild child brides-to-be out there, rock on!
